Perennials and Ponds - practical Garden Tips and gardening information from an expert who knows from hands-on experience. Let's face it, perennials are not 'no-brainers'. Gardening Matters is a place for gardeners to get solutions to everyday gardening problems, answers to the questions that plague them, information to sharpen gardening skills while simplifying garden chores.

Few of us are lucky enough to have a good garden center or nursery near us where we can get good information about the plants: how to grow them, keep them healthy, and long-range care. My mission is to pass on the information I've gathered from my twelve year 'internship' with Mother Nature at my perennial plant nursery, and eight acre property.

This diverse practical background, ignited by my passion for teaching and gardening, brings me here to help beginning gardeners get off on the right foot, and help experienced gardeners because a 'true' gardener is never done! K.C. Harvick

K.C. will be conducting a Garden Tour and Lecture at "The Brasacchio Gardens at Song Hill". June 12 7:30 p.m. Participants will tour the gardens and water feature/summerhouse project, and view the spectacular lighting displays, and will discuss the use of lighting in the landscape.
